VTG 1990s RAMA World 1st Command & Control Squadron Flight Scarf USAF Space

Rare vintage RAMA World custom military flight scarf created for the 1st Command and Control Squadron (1 CACS) of Air Force Space Command. This distinctive scarf features the squadron’s official emblem, repeating tiger graphics, and the unit motto “Vigilance Over Space.”

The 1st Command and Control Squadron was activated on December 1, 1989, at Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Station, Colorado, where it operated the U.S. Space Surveillance Network, tracking satellites and orbital debris while providing collision avoidance support for NASA Space Shuttle missions. In 2001, the squadron was redesignated as the 1st Space Control Squadron, making memorabilia bearing the original “1st Command and Control Squadron” name significantly scarcer and identifiable to the 1989–2001 era.

This scarf was produced by RAMA World of Riverside, California, a longtime manufacturer of custom military scarves, ties, and squadron apparel created specifically for U.S. military units in limited quantities. These pieces were generally purchased by squadron members rather than sold through retail channels, making them highly collectible today among Air Force, Space Force, military aviation, and space history enthusiasts.
